Manage money and learn about personal finance at the 176th edition of The Carnival of Personal Finance hosted at The Sun’s Financial Diary.
This week’s edition features my recent article on the myriad ways you can outsource your Money Handler tasks so you can make the transition to money management.
While you peruse the carnival, take some time to check out some of the articles from other personal finance bloggers. I really enjoy learning more about a subject by looking at it from through the eyes of another person.
Here are several that I found interesting and that compliment my leadership approach to personal finance. I’ve added a few comments about each article to give you a flavor of the discussion.
Money Leader:
Leaders have a responsiblity to train their followers. Mary from Simply Forties discusses ways Talk to Your Kids About Money.
Leaders can’t lead if they aren’t physically and mentally healthy. Your health could be a significant threat to your financial strategy and success. Chief Family Officer from Chief Family Officer argues why Your best financial investment may be your good health (but you should also practice sound money management). One more good reason to hit the gym. I love it.
Is the current market drop good, bad or irrelevant? Four Pillars from Four Pillars gives his take. Leadership requires a steady pair of hands and the ability to see the bigger picture.
Lisa Spinelli from Greener Pastures has an educational series on Economic Indicators. It’s a good primer to help you understand the bigger economic environment that your personal finance business operates within.
Money Manager:
The Dividend Guy says “I invest according to a code that guides the decisions I make” and he shares his strategy in My Main Investment Objective: To Generate a Reliable, Growing Stream of Income from Stocks.
Money Handler:
Jim from Blueprint for Financial Prosperity lists 50 Financial Skills Every Person Needs To Know. This is a pretty comprehensive list of skills that your Money Handler should be good at. I try to automate, outsource and streamline as many of these activities as possible.
Enjoy…
